Overview
By 2020, Zuora's web presence had outgrown its legacy stack — a patchwork of prior agencies and disconnected marketing technology that made it difficult to deliver a unified, enterprise-grade experience to the IT leaders, CFOs, and other stakeholders involved in complex B2B buying cycles. I was brought in to lead the Global Web Experience function and set a new direction for the program.
Platform rebuild and MarTech consolidation
Partnering with agency Wrecking Ball, I directed a full rebuild of zuora.com onto an enterprise-grade WordPress architecture, unifying a fragmented marketing technology stack into a single, data-driven system for tracking and optimizing complex B2B buyer journeys. The rebuild shipped in under 12 months, cut page load times by 75% across devices, and held zero downtime through the product launches and traffic spikes that followed.
Brand relaunch and product-led growth
The platform rebuild ran in parallel with a brand identity refresh led by Focus Lab, requiring close coordination to launch the new visual identity and messaging without disrupting the business. I also pushed the site toward product-led growth — building interactive product demos and a streamlined trial onboarding flow that meaningfully grew qualified demo request volume.
